Recently I have been having chronic back pain because of my corrective surgery for my scoliosis. The only medications that would even budge the pain were Oxycodone, and 800mg of ibuprofen. However I have recently acquired a TENS unit for pain because the doctors would not do anything for it. The unit works better than expected, it not only decreases the pain it eliminates it! In addition, the unit causes nerve receptors to release endorphins which helps with any depression I faced (Which runs in my entire family). It kills two birds with one stone! However, the unit do not work for everyone and can increase the pain in some people; therefore, I would recommend renting one to try rather than buying one which may not work at all.
