He already is complaining about the chest tube. He has been conscious and since he can't speak he has used our laptop to communicate with us. His levels are all fine and he is breathing on his own with the ventilator only there as a precaution. We are hoping that they will remove the vent in the morning. He has relatively little drainage from his chest and only needed a small amount of blood. There is no question that the young heal so much faster than us older types.
