Mike was moved last night to a regular room. The only problem now is getting past some sores in his mouth (probably due to the vent tube) and increasing his activity level to help get fluid out of his lungs. We will start trying to get him up and walking around today. John Hopkins is much more disciplined when it comes to the teenager wards. They must be up and dressed and there are rules concerning noise levels and such. We even had to sign and acknowledge the rules. In this respect CHOP was much less restrictive. I think that it is a good idea and helps get the kids back on track.
